Preview of the film Kaziriinda, the art of storytelling

Through the portrait of actress and storyteller Natou Thiam, Kaziriinda, the art of storytelling revisits the history and culture of oral tradition in Mali.

Sunjata Koly is a filmmaker, writer, and musician. He holds a master's degree in artistic direction of cultural projects from Paul Valery University and studied screenwriting at the École Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière and then at the University of Michigan. His short fiction films and creative documentaries have been screened at national and international festivals (Amiens International Film Festival, Carthage Film Festival, Quilombo: A Look at African Cinema). Kaziriinda, the Art of Storytelling is his latest film creation.
