THE BIENNIAL

IN 2025, THE MOVEMENT

From October 6 to 12, head to all corners of the city and the metropolis to discover a vast cultural program centered around the links forged between Africa and Europe.
A public and professional hub in which African and European creatives, whether artists or entrepreneurs, co-construct, exchange and reinvent the stories of the links between our territories.

You will find in your favorite places as well as in public spaces:

  • Exhibitions in the city's iconic art venues and halls will vibrate to the rhythm of the biennial.

  • The results of joint residencies between artists from both continents, points of dialogue for cooperation, at the Halle Tropisme and in the arts centers of the metropolis.

  • Focus on artistic, cultural and knowledge-based venues (media libraries, cinemas, museums, universities, etc.).

  • Public conferences on ICCs, contemporary African thought and the challenges of cooperation between our two continents.

  • Major sporting events in wrestling, basketball, football and urban sports.

On the professional side, entrepreneurs from both continents will meet to exchange ideas, inspire each other, and collaborate on future projects. This will take place through various programs offered during the Biennale, such as the Young African Entrepreneurs Campus and the Learning Expeditions in the creative and cultural industries offered by the Halle Tropisme.
