Childhood Art Awakening Workshop

"Traits Vibratoires" is an artistic activity that involves creating multidisciplinary work that combines drawing, painting, and installation. The "Traits Vibratoires" workshop is a gathering where participants collectively conduct practical work that embodies an idea. Each participant contributes their own perspective, which they share with the entire group.

This work presents a set of six plates highlighting a new fragmented space, which is articulated between features taken from the topographical map of France and features of African masks.

The idea is to create a crossover between the finite and the infinite, the figurative and the abstract, transparency and opacity, representation and presentation. We create a vibrant world, which traces lines of memory by opening up to the notion of territory, Africanness, contemporaneity and interculturality.

These crossed and recrossed, moving and vibrant lines reveal paths leading towards the space of collective consciousness.

This installation invites viewers to see Franco-African reality differently, through opaque or transparent surfaces that reveal an identity - a relationship.
